Sports Management Intern

Position Overview:

Elite Sports Empowerment is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sports Management Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about sports, marketing, and athlete representation to gain practical experience in the fast-paced world of sports management. Interns will assist with various projects related to client relations, brand management, NIL representation, and event planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with athlete representation tasks, including contract management, communication, and client support.

- Support the marketing and branding team in developing promotional materials and campaigns for athletes and events.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and sponsorship opportunities within the sports industry.

- Help coordinate events, meetings, and appearances for athletes, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.

- Assist in managing social media accounts and creating engaging content to enhance the agency's online presence.

- Participate in client meetings, taking notes and helping prepare presentation materials.

- Collaborate with team members on special projects related to NIL initiatives and athlete marketing strategies.

- Maintain organized records and databases for clients, sponsorship opportunities, and other relevant information.

 

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Strong passion for sports and a desire to learn about the sports management industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- A basic understanding of sports marketing, branding, and sponsorship is a plus.

- Previous internship or volunteer experience in sports or related fields is preferred but not required.

Elite Sports Empowerment is seeking a motivated and creative Content Creator Intern to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about sports management, marketing, and digital content creation to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will assist in developing engaging content across various platforms that highlight our brand, athletes, and key initiatives, including athlete representation, NIL opportunities, and brand management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our brand objectives and goals.

- Create written, visual, and multimedia content for our website, social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials.

- Assist in researching and identifying trends in sports management, athlete representation, and NIL developments for content ideas.

- Engage with our audience on social media platforms, monitoring interactions and responding to messages to foster community engagement.

- Support the team in planning and executing campaigns and events, including live coverage and post-event content creation.

- Help maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all projects and campaigns.

- Assist with video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production tasks.

- Conduct interviews or gather quotes from athletes and clients for use in content pieces.

 

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.

- Strong passion for sports and a good understanding of the sports management industry.

- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.

- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and video editing software is a plus.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Creative mindset with a willingness to share ideas and collaborate with team members.
