Rodney Ray Jr., a dynamic 6'6" basketball player from New York, NY, has emerged as a promising talent poised to take his career to the professional level. Known for his explosive left-hand dominance, exceptional ball-handling skills, and outstanding court vision, Rodney exemplifies the qualities of a dedicated and passionate athlete.


Rodney's love for basketball began at Glen Cove High School, where he honed his skills and laid the foundation for his athletic journey. His early promise was evident as he participated in prestigious camps, including the Kenny Smith Basketball Camp and the Long Island Basket Camp, where he not only won a championship but also earned awards such as Most Improved Player, Best 3-Point Shooter, and MVP.


Rodney's collegiate career has seen him compete at both NCAA Division II and NAIA Division I levels, showcasing his versatility on the court: He attended Broward College in Florida where he averaged 10.6 points per game on an impressive 56% shooting from the field. From there he transferred to Glenville State University in West Virginia where he played as a guard and small forward, averaging 10.3 points per game with a shooting percentage of 50%. He completed his college years at University of Antelope Valley in California where he averaged 13.2 points per game on 54% shooting, along with an impressive 5 rebounds per game, leveraging his size for dominant rebounding ability.
