Tazsa Garrett-Hammett is a dynamic guard/forward known for her scoring ability and versatility on the court. A native of LaGrange, Georgia, Tazsa made her mark at Springwood High School, where she developed into a star athlete before transitioning to collegiate basketball and then to professional play in Ireland.

Tazsa played for Coach Rick Johnson at Springwood High School in Alabama, where she quickly garnered attention for her exceptional talent. She earned AISA Player of the Year honors during both her junior and senior seasons and was a pivotal player in leading her team to an impressive 30-0 record and a state championship in her junior year. Averaging 15.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, she solidified her place as one of the best players in the state.
